Evaluación de las hospitalizaciones de recién nacidos en una UCI Neonatal durante una pandemia

Objective: To evaluate the characteristics of hospitalizations newborns in a neonatal intensive care unit extreme south Brazil during short period time. Method: Observational study, with 85 neonates, based on secondary data from patients hospitalized Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, May 2020 to October 2020. Results: The prevalence was male, diagnosis prematurity, who weighed between 1500g and 2499g, did not receive breast milk first hour life, received visits parents, lap hospitalization. mothers had more than 6 prenatal consultations babies were born by cesarean section. Conclusion: provided holistic way, science humanized way can reduce infant mortality, bring greater security parents confidence team, addition preventing future complications child development.
